Cookie Policy
Last updated on September 13, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how the Updent website uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used for website functionality, usage statistics, and advertising measurement.
2. What Cookies We Use
The Updent website uses the following cookies and similar technologies:
- necessary cookies, related to the basic functionality and security of the site;
- analytics technologies via Vercel Analytics, which collect anonymous statistical information about site visits and usage;
- advertising cookies and tracking through Meta Pixel, used to measure visits from Facebook and Instagram ads and support advertising audiences.
Vercel Analytics statistics are anonymous. Meta Pixel data may be associated with a Meta account and should not be treated as anonymous.
3. Analytics Tools
The site uses Vercel Analytics for the purpose of:
- analyzing traffic;
- improving functionality and user experience;
- technical optimization of the site.
The production website also loads Meta Pixel automatically and sends page-view events when you open or navigate between public pages. It may use cookies such as _fbp and _fbc and send page URLs, referral information, cookie identifiers, IP addresses, and browser/device information to Meta. This supports ad measurement and audience creation. The site does not display a cookie consent prompt.
When you select an available ticket and continue to Medentic checkout, the site also sends an InitiateCheckout event with the course ID, ticket ID and title, currency, and VAT-inclusive ticket unit price. This records the start of checkout, not a completed purchase or final order total.
This integration does not explicitly send newsletter form fields or completed ticket purchases to Meta. Ticket checkout is hosted separately by Medentic.
4. Cookie Management
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Browser privacy settings and content blockers may also restrict Meta Pixel. Deleting cookies alone does not prevent new cookies being set on a later visit. You can also manage advertising preferences in your Meta account.
5. Changes to This Policy
Updent reserves the right to update this Cookie Policy when there are changes in the technologies used or legislation. The current version is always available on the site.
