Biography

Prof. Francesca Cremonini graduated in dentistry and prosthodontics from the University of Ferrara in July 2017 with distinction, presenting an experimental thesis titled 'Teeth Whitening Associated with Orthodontic Treatment Using F22 Aligners.' In December 2020, she specialized in orthodontics at the same university, again with distinction, with a thesis titled 'F22 KIDS: Skeletal and Dental Effects in Class II Malocclusion Treatment for Adolescents.' Currently, Prof. Cremonini is a research fellow at the University of Ferrara and practices as a private orthodontist in the province of Modena, focusing primarily on orthodontics.

Her research is centered on the use of clear aligners in orthodontic treatment. In an April 2024 publication in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics, Prof. Cremonini and colleagues demonstrated a new functional approach to treating Class II malocclusions in adolescent patients using F22 Young clear aligners with mandibular advancement functionality.

Additionally, in a study published in the Journal of Orthodontics, she and her co-authors described the combined use of F22 aligners and intermaxillary elastics for treating mild skeletal Class II malocclusions associated with mild to moderate dental crowding.

Prof. Cremonini has over 60 publications and has been cited more than 170 times in scientific literature.
