Biography
Dr. Tarek is a consultant in the field of restorative and aesthetic dental medicine. After obtaining his bachelor's degree, he continued his postgraduate training and earned a master's degree in conservative and aesthetic dental medicine from the University of Cairo. He then defended his doctoral degree at the same university in the same field. Currently, he works as an assistant in the Department of Conservative Dentistry at Misr International University.
Dr. Farouk lives and works in Cairo. His clinical practice is dedicated to adhesive restorative dental medicine, utilizing all modern technologies and approaches to provide high-quality dental care.
Dr. Tarek is an international lecturer in the field of restorative and aesthetic dental medicine and is invited as a guest lecturer at many private and public universities both in Egypt and abroad. He conducts numerous national and international courses, especially in the Middle East and Europe. He was a guest lecturer in the Master's program in restorative dental medicine at the University of Dundee held in Egypt. Additionally, he is a key opinion leader and scientific speaker for several international companies. The lecturer is also a global restorative expert in the Dental XP community.
Dr. Tarek's academic interests lie in the field of scientific research, collaborating with various university-based research groups worldwide in the field of restorative dental medicine. His research activities focus on developing new restorative techniques that make the practice of restorative dental medicine easier and more predictable for clinicians.
One of his recent achievements is the development of the simplified stratification technique, which is a technique for creating layered direct composite restorations, recently published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry and various other publications.
